COVID-19 Emergency Response Maps

M.A.P.S. responded to a request from a colleague to create a Google Map that contains information about emergency resources which can be easily accessed by youth and other vulnerable people who have phones. Feel free to share the maps with your clients, one contains food and shelter and the other has mental health organizations.
The maps consist of information from 211 and information directly from agencies. The maps are live and are updated every day to ensure accuracy of organizations that are open during COVID-19. If you are interested in having your agency listed on the maps, contact Louise ([email protected]) and we can add it to the maps.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Tracking

M.A.P.S. is helping to track COVID-19 personal protective equipment (PPE) for agencies serving people who are homeless or at risk. Some agencies have support in meeting their PPE needs through collective purchases/orders, while others do not. We set up a Google Spreadsheet to keep track of supply and demand across homeless-serving agencies. With regular input, this information will be kept up-to-date and as real-time as possible so it can be used to support bulk orders, donation campaigns, or other collaborative efforts as needed.

There are two short (1-2 min) surveys that we ask agencies to fill out. The first and most important one is the Inventory and Needs survey that will populate the Google Spreadsheet. The second survey will allow for better sector-wide planning. We commit to having the resuts updated weekly (if there are updates), so it can be a tool for agencies to monitor and collaborate on PPE going forward.
